<p>The industry has lost one of its own. Larry W. Krempel passed away unexpectedly at University Hospital of Cincinnati on Friday, August 3, 2012. Mr. Krempel served Kroger Co. for 37 years as Produce Merchandising and Procurement before retiring and was an active member of the Produce Marketing Association. Larry will be remembered for his love of life, faith, family and friends.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Mr. Krempel leaves behind his bride of 40 years Gerri, a son Jacob, a brother Joseph, sisters Barbara, Elizabeth, and Janey, brother-in-law Gene, sisters-in-law Shirley, and loving nieces, nephews, friends, and business associates.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
