<p>Leonard M. Veri, President of Exeter Produce, passed away on March 1, 2013 at the age of 76.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Mr. Veri had a long history in the fresh produce industry as a grower and a shipper; establishing a fourth generation family owned and operated business that has become the largest field fresh market vegetable producer in Ontario.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Mr. Veri's 55 years of passion allowed him to expand his operations to farm over 4000 acres of field crop. Through his direction the company has always maintained quality and cutting edge technology. The company entered into the greenhouse business in more recent years, building a 25 acre state of the art glass greenhouse.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Haskett Funeral Home at www.haskettfh.com.
