KINGSVILLE, ONTARIO, CANADA - When it comes to cucumbers, consumer behavior trends indicate that convenience is top of mind. Smaller, seedless varieties have cropped up to fill demand, such as Mucci Farms’ revamped CuteCumber™ Poppers.
“The decision to evolve the CuteCumber™ Poppers variety came from a growing demand for portable, convenient, and fresh options for on-the-go snacking,” said Jessica Soare, Assistant Vice President of Marketing for Cox Farms. “By pairing this variety with a portioned ranch dip in one package, this new product offers a convenient snacking option ideal for road trips, workdays, and snacking on the move.”
After generating retail interest at this year’s CPMA, the latest evolution of the CuteCumber™ Poppers line delivers what shoppers are looking for in a modern snack: freshness, portability, flavor, and convenience.
The packaging is a 1.5-lb bowl with a top-seal lid, paired with 2 of the 1.5-oz custom-designed ranch dip cups.
"At Mucci Farms, every product decision starts with the consumer—how do we make fresh eating more convenient, more delicious, and more accessible?” Jessica emphasized. “Our snacking lineup, from Cherto™ Cherry Tomatoes-On-The-Vine to Senza Seedless Mini Peppers, reflects that commitment, and Double Dipper takes it further with a portable, ready-to-eat format designed to fit the way people actually eat today.”
The CuteCumber™ Poppers Double Dipper launch will include multiple marketing resources, such as in-store displays, P.O.P. materials, and in-store demonstrations at participating retailers.
