The debut offerings include DuPont Teijin’s Mylar COOK and BAKE films, which are sold as thermoformable packaging products. To compliment this launch, Multivac has selected packaging industry veteran Frank Barel as national sales manager, who will be responsible for heading the new business unit. Mr. Barel is joining the company after serving as global market development manager for Printpack, Inc, and will report to Jan Erik Kuhlmann, President/CEO of Multivac.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Mr. Kuhlmann states “Product marketers across an array of industry sectors are continually searching for ways to differentiate their products and brands and create more value for their customers.” He continues, “Our customers in the food business, for example, are quickly realizing the potential of our Mylar COOK and BAKE packaging materials to significantly expand the categories in which they compete and to substantially impact their growth and profitability.
