<p>Minneapolis, MN</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The NFC Foundation Board of Directors has elected Gary Spinazze to a two-year term as Chair of the NFC Foundation, the charitable arm of Nash Finch Company. Board member Paula Docken was appointed to the position of Chair Elect. Alec Covington, Nash Finch President and CEO, states, “The selection of Gary as Chair of the NFC Foundation and Paula Docken as Chair Elect is a tribute to their passion for our Foundation’s mission and for volunteerism. Their energy, enthusiasm and commitment will serve the Foundation and our non-profit partners well.”</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Mr. Spinazze, VP of Vendor Relations for Nash Finch, has served as a Director of the NFC Foundation since 2009 and is chair of the Foundation’s Fundraising Committee. Gary’s responsibilities will be to continue being actively involved with major fundraising initiatives for the NFC Foundation, including the Annual Golf Tournament. Mr. Spinazze states, “I’m honored and proud to take on the role of Chair of the NFC Foundation. There is no better feeling than to give back to the community, and our Foundation has played a vital role in creating the spirit of giving back that has become a part of our culture at Nash Finch Company.
