<p><strong>Orlando, FL</strong> The National Mango Board's new Mango Retailer of the Year program will recognize retailers this year, for exceptional support and promotion of mangos, according to a recent press release. The top four Mango Model Retailers will be evaluated and chosen from across the nation by NMB and its Retail Account Managers. While all four honorees that are selected will receive special recognition from the Board, only one will receive the honor of Mango Retailer of the Year.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> The program highlights those retailers who are dedicated and supportive partners to the National Mango Board while also setting good examples for the industry. All mango retailers are encouraged to participate in the NMB's new program.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> The NMB’s retail account managers will evaluate mango retailers in two phases based on criteria that includes everything from sales and volume numbers and increases to education, promotions and merchandising. The 2012 Mango Model Retailers will be revealed at the NMB’s annual Mango Industry Reception at the PMA’s Fresh Summit in Anaheim, California on October 27, 2012, with The Mango Retailer of the Year being announced in November.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> “All retailers win by building their mango business, but our new program is another opportunity to acknowledge those who are fully engaged and deliver outstanding mango results through support of the NMB and promotion,” said NMB Marketing Director, Megan McKenna.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
