New Jersey Secretary of Ag to Address Crowd at State Agricultural Convention

Fisher will speak to over 500 of New Jersey’s agricultural leaders and officials. Topics will include the changing and evolving agriculture in the Garden State, and the challenges and opportunities facing our farmers.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/New-Jersey-state-agricultural-convention_BodyImage01.jpg" alt="Cropped Images 02042013" /></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The convention represents the largest annual gathering of the state’s agricultural industry including agribusiness leaders, representatives of county agriculture boards, breed and commodity organizations, granges, and other members of the agriculture community.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">In addition, the delegates will discuss issues affecting the industry, help set agricultural policy for the coming year and determine the new members of the State Board of Agriculture. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><img src="https://cdn.andnowuknow.com/legacyWriterImages/New-Jersey-state-agricultural-convention_BodyImage02.jpg" alt="Cropped Images 02042013" /></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The event runs at the same time as the Vegetable Growers Association of New Jersey convention and trade show. The programs will be conducted separately.
