Potandon Produce is promoting two of its key veteran employees, Ralph Schwartz and Barbara Keckler. Ralph, a 12 year employee of the company, was promoted to Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Innovation, while Barbara, a 15 year employee, has been promoted to Marketing Manager, according to a press release.
“These promotions reflect our company’s commitment to excellence and the increasing importance that we feel lies in working with our retailers to provide innovative products and promotions,” said Dick Thomas, Senior Vice President of Sales. “These employees have displayed an ongoing dedication to the produce industry and we are proud to have them on our team.”
Ralph Schwartz, who was most recently Director of Category Management and Value Added Marketing, will be bringing along his extensive background in retail, wholesale, marketing, procurement, and sales to this newly created position. Barbara, on the other hand, will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the marketing department at Potandon, overseeing all trade promotional and advertising activity including new program development, electronic marketing, media relations, and branded marketing programs.
