<p>Publix has become the Official Supermarket of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and will be for the next five years.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Publix and Jaguar executives made a joint announcement at the EverBank Field before the team’s second day of training camp. Jaguars General Manager David Caldwell and Head Coach Gus Bradley were in attendance. Post practice, Publix hosted a complimentary tailgate party for 750 fans.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The partnership will be centered around a tailgating platform that will provide Jaguars fans with the opportunity to participating in tailgating experiences at games and in-store promotions. Additionally, it will include radio tie-ins, events at Publix stores, and sponsorship of weekly tailgating recipes on the team’s website and signs at EverBank Field.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">It will also include efforts to provide hunger relief during the holiday season.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>“We are thrilled to have Publix join the Jaguars family,” said Jaguars Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships Scott Massey. “Publix is a great brand and a highly respected part of our community.
