<p>Publix is entering the North Myrtle Beach and Pawleys Island, South Carolina market with two new stores. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>“On the heels of our continued expansion in North Carolina, we are excited to offer our associates growth opportunities and bring new jobs to the area,” said Chuck Roskovich, Publix Divisional Vice President. “We look forward to providing South Carolina residents and visitors alike with the high-quality service, products and active community involvement that Publix has become known for in our areas of operation and beyond.” </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The first lease is for the 49,000-square-foot Publix supermarket in North Myrtle Beach located in the Coastal North Town Center at Hwy 17 and Moss Place, according to a press release. The store is slated to open in late 2014. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>The second lease is for Pawleys Island in the Pawleys Island Plaza at Hwy 17 &amp; Petigru Drive.
