<p><strong> Atlanta, GA</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The morning of August 2, Publix will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony to commence its first Knoxville store. The Knoxville Publix store will hire approximately 200 associates as well as increase customer convenience by having an ample selection of earth- friendly, all- natural and organic products. To supply the produce department, Publix will highlight the season’s best organic, conventionally grown, and exotic vegetables and fruits.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">The store will display a large selection of salads, soups, and fresh prepared foods created by the in-house chefs daily. Customers will be able to choose from a wide variety of appetizers, entrees, and side dishes that include Cedar Plank Salmon, Twice Baked Potatoes, and Grilled Asparagus with Vinaigrette and Bleu Cheese. The soup bar will offer customers a choice of four gourmet soups and the Pan Asian inspired wok.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“Customers continue to look for a variety of all natural and organic products and services while seeking traditional items on their shopping list,” says Brenda Reid, Media and Community Relations Manager for Publix. “We’re confident this store will exceed customer expectations with an elegant environment, expanded product mix and premium service.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Furthermore, Customers will have the convenience of a café to offer a variety of coffees, lattes, espressos, teas, gelato, tasteful gelato smoothies, and assorted pastries. The customers will be able to lounge and enjoy the free wi-fi service.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">On August 2, the first 1,000 customers will receive a free, recyclable, Publix grocery bag. The customers will also be given flowers as they enter the store while supplies last. Additionally, the first 25 customers that purchase over $50 in groceries will receive a fee bag of groceries worth $25.
