GEORGETOWN, KY - Georgetown is slated to get its first Publix location, according to WKYT. The supermarket confirmed a lease at Elkhorn Village Center, where a 50,325-square-foot Publix Supermarket and an adjacent Publix Liquors will be developed.
“We are excited to continue our growth across Kentucky with a new location in Georgetown,” said Jared Glover, Publix Media Relations Manager. “We look forward to our new customers experiencing the Publix difference soon.”
The location is expected to employ about 150 associates and marks part of Publix’s continued expansion across Kentucky.
An opening date has not yet been announced, but the development reinforces momentum in the region’s growing grocery landscape.
