Numerous local dignitaries, including Pearland Mayor Tom Reid and members of the Pearland Chamber of Commerce were in attendance, along with 200 Sam's Club associates.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">"For 12 years people in Pearland have been asking me when our city was going to get a Sam's Club," says Pearland Mayor Tom Reid. "This is the type of shopping our citizens have been asking for. I'm sure this Sam's Club is happy to be here, and we're happy to have them. It's a perfect alliance."<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Sam’s Club says their customer service and members needs have always been a priority and the new Pearland location will offer shoppers a vast selection of quality and affordable items.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Customers will find departments such as a Hearing Aid Center, Pharmacy, Electronics, Floral, Office, Tires and Automotive and more at the new location.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">"I am so proud of our associates for their hard work and commitment to this club," says Randy Yarborough, Club Manager.
