Schnucks Shares A Sweet Kiss® With Frieda's Produce University

<p><strong>Los Alamitos, CA</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Frieda’s Produce University partnered with Schnucks to teach consumers about gourmet Kiss® melons. The free open-house style event took place in the produce departments of all Schnucks, Logli, and Hilander locations. Staff conducted tastings of the Honey Kiss®, Golden Kiss®, and Sugar Kiss® melons, grown by the specialty melon farm, Sandstone Marketing.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Mike O’Brien, VP of Produce for Schnucks Markets, Inc, states, “When it comes to melons, expertise is within our reach, because of the training from Frieda’s.” He adds, “Our customers were delighted when tasting all of the varieties of these tasty melons.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Frank McIntyre, Assistant Produce Manager for Shnucks, was also featured on “Living Well”, a morning show in Peoria, IL and spoke about Produce University.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Mr. O’Brien continues, “Everyone did a fantastic job and really showed up as food experts.”</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href="http://www.friedas.com/" target="_new"> Frieda’s </a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
