He will oversee the entire procurement team, product selection, category management, retail produce operations, and all floral operations.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Schuette started with Bashas’ back in 1985 as a 16-year old produce clerk and evolved into a Director of Perishables for their upscale format, A.J.’s Fine Foods. His career with Bashas’ ended in 2009 when he took an upper management position with Sunflower Farmer’s Market, now owned and operated by Sprout’s Farmer’s Market. He left Sprout’s Farmer’s Market three months ago and returned to Bashas’ as the Director of Produce Operations for the entire company<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“From the age of 16, I have had a passion for Produce,” said Schuette. “Whether it is growing my own seasonal back-yard crops or building Sales out in the stores with creative displays, produce is in my blood for good.”</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p><a class="btn btn-sm btn-primary col-lg-12" style="white-space: normal;" href="bashas.com" target="_new">Bashas</a></p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
