<p>Beginning the first week of August, Seald Sweet will import citrus from Australia into the port of Long Beach, marking yet another addition to the company’s well-established summer citrus programs.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p> “This is a great opportunity for Seald Sweet to expand our current product supply of premium citrus and to continue growing our summer citrus programs,” says Dave Brocksmith, Seald Sweet’s category manager for Australian citrus. “We have a long history of receiving premium citrus on the East coast from South Africa, Chile and Peru and we can now expand our offerings to our customers on the west coast.”</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Seald Sweet’s Australian citrus growing operation principals have over thirty years of experience in the Australian produce deal. The program is located in the Mildura region and has over 1,500 hectares of citrus production.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Product shipments are expected to continue into October.
