Showing SXSW What It Means To Be Green

<p><strong>AUSTIN, Texas</strong> Whole Foods Market ® will be joining in on the excitement of South by Southwest. As an official sponsor of the Green Zone, Whole Foods will be helping festival goers recharge themselves and their electronics, according to a press release. The Green Zone will also offer visitors complimentary purified water, chairs and shade, along with BPA-free water bottles. For those early birds, Sanctuary Print Shop will printing one-hundred limited edition, organic cotton American Apparel T-shirts which will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Festival attendees can also get a taste of Whole Foods as the store goes mobile with the Whole Foods Market food truck. The menu offers items such as vegan falafel tacos, Korean short rib tacos, pork belly BLT sliders, vegan chickpea sliders just to name a few. “Partnering with SXSW is a great way to bring together two homegrown institutions to celebrate the ties we both have to Austin,” said Scott Simons, global marketing director for Whole Foods Market. “In addition to being located in our backyard, the festival has long been a favorite of our shoppers, as well as our Team Members.
