PHOENIX, AZ - I’m a little biased, but Sprouts Farmers Market is one of my favorite grocery stores, so upon hearing of the retailer’s plans to expand across the States, I was thrilled! In a recent announcement, Sprouts stated that it planned to open 13 more stores during the second half of 2019, including five Florida locations and its first store in Virginia.
These stores are listed as follows—grand opening dates will be shared separately at a later date:
- Bel Air, MD – 680 Marketplace Drive
- Deerfield Beach, FL – 930 South Federal Highway
- Greensboro, NC – 3357 Battleground Avenue
- Herndon, VA – 494 Elden Street
- Jacksonville, FL – 4873 Town Center Parkway
- Jupiter, FL – 3757 Military Trail
- Lake Forest, CA – 24332 Rockfield Boulevard
- Laveen, AZ – 59th Avenue and Baseline Road
- New Port Ritchey, FL – 8840 Strength Avenue
- Riverview, FL – Summerfield Crossing and Highway 301
- Vista, CA – 1400 East Vista Way
- West Covina, CA – Citrus Street and Workman Avenue
- West Hollywood, CA – 8550 Santa Monica Boulevard
According to a press release, the Deerfield Beach, New Port Ritchey, Jacksonville, Jupiter, and West Covina stores will feature Sprouts’ newest operational and design enhancements that highlight department destinations and promote customer engagement throughout the store. In addition to thousands of natural, organic, and gluten-free products, shoppers can find more than 2,400 Sprouts Brand items. Guests will also enjoy eye-catching marquee signage and display cases at The Butcher Shop and Fish Market that emphasize the department’s knowledgeable and personal service.
On top of these offerings, The Market Corner Deli will feature a detached, rectangular island to optimize customer service and convenience by offering made-to-order sandwiches, a salad bar, prepared foods, sushi made in-store, and fresh juice.
Each new store, the retailer noted, will bring approximately 140 new career opportunities to the neighborhood in which it resides. Sprouts offers competitive pay, team member discounts, a rewarding work culture, and numerous opportunities for career advancement.
By the end of 2019, Sprouts will operate 340 stores in 22 states.
