The store also includes innovative features to promote sustainability in energy, recycling, and water consumption. These features include skylights and energy-efficient fluorescent lights, a white roof to reflect sunlight and reduce heat gains in store, an Energy Management System, and green cleaning methods. The store also offers a first of its kind grocery mobile app, SCAN IT! Mobile.
