Target Names Jeffrey Jones as Chief Marketing Officer

<p> <strong>MINNEAPOLIS, MN</strong> - Target Corporation is announcing that Jeffrey J. Jones, II, is being named Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Effective immediately, the announcements ends a thorough search of candidates both internal and external to the company.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Mr. Jones brings extensive industry expertise in leading global marketing strategy and operations including consumer products and retail, according to a press release. In his most recent role, the industry veteran served as partner and President of McKinney, a North Carolina based advertising agency. Prior to his position at McKinney, Mr. Jones held several leadership positions at Gap, Inc. including a role as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> Gregg Steinhafel, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Target, states, "We are very excited to welcome Jeff to the Target team.
