SALINAS, CA - The pickle craze is far from over. In a blog post titled "The Brine Boom: Pickles Are Popping Off in Grocery Aisles," Instacart outlined the various ways pickles are shaping American shopping behaviors and trends.
Purchase data from the segment, “Beyond the Jar”, revealed the “top-selling pickle-flavored products that aren’t actually pickles, and one of Taylor Farms’ salad kits ranked among them.
To learn more, I spoke with Christina Barnard, Vice President of Marketing and E-commerce.
“We were thrilled to see Taylor Farms featured in Instacart’s latest data report on America’s pickle obsession,” shared Christina. “Our Dill Pickle Chopped Salad Kit has become a shopper favorite, and last month's free gift offer was the perfect way to let even more consumers taste the trend. The free offer was exhausted in under 48 hours.”
This kind of national exposure helps to reinforce Taylor Farms as a category leader.
“The free offer allowed new consumers a low-barrier way to try and fall in love with Taylor Farms Chopped Salad Kits. By converting trend-driven trial into repeat purchases, we not only strengthen brand equity but also fuel incremental growth for the packaged salad category,” added Christina.
