<p>Taylor Farms de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. has resumed full operations in consultation and in cooperation with the FDA on August 25, 2013 after its voluntary suspension of operations in order to dedicate all resources to the FDA’s onsite assessment of processing and field operations, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> The FDA’s completed environmental assessment of Taylor Farms de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. took place from August 11-19, 2013 and included the facility’s processing operations and five associated farms. The FDA team found no indication of Cyclospora and found that conditions and practices observed at these facilities during the assessment were in accordance with known food safety protocols.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> More than 1,181 individual microscopic and DNA tests were performed for Cyclospora throughout the farms, facilities, and products at Taylor Farms de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. No irregularities that would indicate a potential for contamination have been found and all tests have been negative.
