With recently received GFS Certification for their Farms and Packing Sheds in Mexico, the company has been able to reinforce those food safety commitments. Tex Starr has completed all of the requirements for the GFS Certification program in order to obtain this certification, according to a recent press release. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p> Every Royal Star and Sun Crest Maradol papaya is grown on certified orchards in Colima, Mexico; a location that situates the papayas near the Pacific Coast. The fruit is brought into the United States via its facility in Alamo, TX. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p> Lance Peterson, Co-Owner of Tex Starr Distributing, LLC, states “Food Safety has always been our highest priority when growing and shipping our products.
