<p>Vignolo Farms and Top Brass Marketing are announcing the completion of a 1 Mega Watt solar energy system built by REC Solar. The new solar array system will offset 75% of power needs for its cold storage facility while significantly reducing its carbon footprint.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Vignolo Farms is a 75-year-old family run farm in California’s San Joaquin Valley and Top Brass Marketing is the official sales agent for the farms fresh produce. The farm produces table grapes and potatoes, and is a leader in sustainable agricultural practices, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">"Vignolo Farms knows that sustainability isn’t a marketing campaign, but a real business asset," said Brett Dixon, president of Top Brass Marketing. "We’ve seen a sharp uptick in customer demand for sustainable produce, so generating our own solar energy was a natural next move for us.
