<p><strong>Rosemont, IL.</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Ana Fernandez, director, Environmental Programs, US Foods, has been named to the board of directors of the National Association for Environmental Management (NAEM), the largest professional association for corporate environment, health and safety (EHS) and sustainability leaders.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“As a board member, I look forward to helping develop the network of local NAEM chapters,” says Fernandez. “I have been the president of the Atlanta chapter for the last eight years and a member of NAEM for 10 years, so I have a lot of ideas for enhancing the network.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Fernandez will serve a two-year term as second vice president beginning January 1, 2013.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">“A passion for food is at the heart of everything we do at US Foods,” says Stuart Schuette, chief operating officer, US Foods. “We are constantly seeking out and creating new trends and innovative products to help customers thrill diners and increase sales.
