US Foods' Supplier Acquisition

<p><strong>Rosemont, ILL</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> US Foods, has acquired New City Packing Company. The purchase brings a supplier of high-quality steaks and fresh-cut portion meats to restaurants and customers across the country, into the US Foods family.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> New City Packing Company was founded in 1884 and serves more than 400 customers and operates a 60,000 square foot distribution warehouse and meat cutting facility in Aurora, Ill, according to a press release.
