USDA Restricts 3’s Produce Corp and Harry Crocker dba Amerina Company for PACA Violations

<p>The USDA has imposed sanctions on two produce businesses for failure to pay reparation awards issued under the PACA. 3’s Produce Corp and Harry Crocker, doing business as Amerina Company are currently restricted from operating in the produce industry.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Bronx, New York-based 3’s Produce Corp. has failed to pay a $21,497 award in favor of a California seller. As of the issuance date of the reparation order, Dae Soo Yu was listed as the officer, director, and major stockholder of the business, according to a press release.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p> Harry Crocker, doing business as Amerina Company, operating out of Vero Beach, Florida has failed to pay a $3,560 award in favor of a New Jersey seller. Harry L. Crocker was listed as the sole proprietor of the business, as of the issuance date of the reparation order.</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>In the past three years, the USDA resolved approximately 5,000 claims filed under PACA involving almost $96 million. Individuals, including sole proprietors, partners, members, managers, officers, directors, or major stockholders may not be employed by or affiliated with any PACA licensee without the approval of the USDA.
