USDA Restricts PACA Violators Buckboard Bean and Oh Produce LLC from Operating in the Produce Industry

<p>The USDA has imposed sanctions on two produce businesses for failing to pay reparation awards issued under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA). The sanctions restrict the businesses from operating within the produce industry.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Buckboard Bean Inc., operating out of Greeley, CO, has been issued sanctions for failing to pay an $11,555 award in favor of a California seller. As of the issuance date of the reparation order, Darin D. Anderson was listed as the officer, director, and major stockholder of the business.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Oh Produce LLC, operating out of Los Angeles, CA, has been issued sanctions for failing to pay a $10,809 award in favor of a California seller. As of the issuance date of the reparation order, Jae Seok Lee was listed as the sole member and major stockholder of the business.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">In the past three years, USDA resolved approximately 4,600 claims filed under PACA involving more than $87 million, according to a press release.
