The company has named veteran Mike Massimino to the new position of Senior Vice President of Marketing &amp; Merchandising; Rick Bunnell to the new position of Senior Vice President of Supply Chain; and Justin Ewing to the new position of Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Real Estate, according to a press release.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Massimino will be responsible for leading the company’s national merchandising strategy and vendor partnership development, in his new role. Massimino kicked off his career with Albertsons in 1975 in Logan, Utah as a frozen food clerk. He made his way up the ranks, eventually holding district leadership roles in merchandising and operations before moving to the corporate office in Boise as the Director of Grocery Merchandising. Massimino served as President of GM/HBC at Albertsons Inc.’s Scottsdale office prior to joining Albertsons LLC in 2006 as Group Vice President, Center Store. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>In his new role as Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, Bunnell will lead the company’s Supply Chain operation which includes 12 distribution centers. He has been with Albertsons transportation management since 1983. Bunnell held several leadership positions with Albertsons Inc., resulting in his being named regional Vice President of Supply Chain. He joined Albertsons LLC in 2006 in that same role, and was promoted to Group Vice President of Supply Chain in 2012. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>Ewing joined Albertsons LLC in 2006 as Vice President of Corporate Development, after playing a vital role in the original 2006 Albertsons acquisition.
