<p><strong>Rochester, NY</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Wegmans Food Markets has announced that Don Reeve, Senior VP and Chief Information Officer, will retire August 3, 2012. Mr. Reeve served Wegmans for 42 years.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Before being named CIO 1986, Reeve’s duties included computer operator, programmer, systems analyst, database administrator, manager of systems and programming, and director of information technology. Mr. Reeve states, “Wegmans is such a special company. I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend my career working for a first-class organization and with so many wonderful, caring people.” CEO Danny Wegman adds, “Don is one of the most delightful people I’ve ever known… We’re going to miss seeing his smiling face on a daily basis.”<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Dave DeLaus, previously Senior VP and Division Manager of Wegmans’ New Jersey stores, will now serve as CIO.
