<p><strong>Sunbury, PA</strong><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Weis Markets has promoted Kurt Schertle to the position of Executive Vice President.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Until his promotion, Mr. Schertle served as Senior Vice President, Sales and Merchandising and will continue to be responsible for overseeing the company’s marketing, merchandising, procurement, and advertising for its center store, perishable, and pharmacy departments. In his new position, Mr. Schertle will now oversee the company’s supply chain, including its distribution and transportation teams.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">David J.
