WILLISTON, FL - Winn-Dixie officially unveiled its brand-new Williston store Saturday, Dec. 6 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony beginning at 7:30 a.m. located at 434 E. Noble Ave. in Williston.
The celebration marked a major milestone – Winn-Dixie’s first new store in Florida since announcing its statewide focus and transformation. As the grocer celebrates its 100th anniversary, the new Williston store represents the next chapter of investment in Florida communities, delivering a modern, convenient shopping experience tailored to local customers.
According to the release, with a brand-new Winn-Dixie concept, customers will immediately notice the key features throughout the new store, including:
- New exterior façade and modern interior signage featuring a fresh, contemporary color palette that honors Winn-Dixie’s century-long legacy.
- Vibrant produce department with an expanded selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, including organic options.
- Full-service deli offering a wide assortment of easy meal solutions — including daily self-serve hot foods, rotisserie chicken, a flavorful wing bar and fresh prepared sandwiches and salads.
- Full bakery department with self-serve pastries, fresh breads, cakes and desserts for every occasion.
- Complete meat department featuring a wide selection of fresh meats, including USDA Choice selections.
- Dedicated seafood department where customers can also enjoy the convenience of “Seafood Made Easy,” choosing their seafood, veggies and seasoning for an easy cook-at-home meal.

The Williston Winn-Dixie is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Customers were invited to join the grand opening ceremony and experience the new Williston Winn-Dixie – featuring extensive offerings and everyday savings. The ribbon-cutting ceremony began at 7:30 a.m., followed by a $1,000 check presentation to the Williston Middle High School and $500 check presentations to the Williston Fire Rescue Department and Williston Police Department in recognition of their vital work in the community.
The first 100 customers in line received a Winn-Dixie mystery gift card valued between $10 and $100. Guests enjoyed DJ entertainment, giveaways, product sampling, kids’ activities, hourly raffle prizes and grand prize drawings starting at 9 a.m. for a chance to win two $500 gift cards, a Smoker, a YETI Cooler or a Blackstone Grill.
