<p><strong>CHICAGO, IL</strong> - IGA has named Bozzuto’s Inc., IGA 2012 USA Licensed Distribution Center of the Year and will be receiving the IGA President’s Cup at the 2012 IGA Global Rally Awards of Excellence Banquet in Las Vegas on February 13th. The award will be presented at The Mirage Hotel, according to a recent press release. The honor is given each year to a company who has demonstrated exceptional effort to support its IGA retailers as well as the IGA brand. Since 1973, Bozzuto's has been honored with the award seven times, including the present recognition. The company has maintained a long standing relationship with IGA retailers.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"> To reflect, 2011 marked an amazing year for the Bozzuto and IGA relationship. The total service wholesale distributor displayed its commitment to IGA by supporting new IGA stores as well as IGA marketing programs. Bozzuto also created further merchandising programs for the retailers. The distributor was able to increase IGA Exclusive Brand product sales and bring in new products for the brand. Bozzuto also reinforced its commitment to the community by helping IGA promote its community-tailored brand platform that included raising more than $220,000 for Special Olympics.
