Jasmine Vineyards: Transitions Into Late Season Grapes

<p>Jasmine Vineyards, Inc. is transitioning into its late season grape varieties including Scarlett Royals, Autumn Royals, Red Globes, Vintage Reds and Autumn Kings out of Delano, California. The company just finished production with several varieties such as the Thompson Seedless, Flames, and a new variety for the company, Sweet Sunshine. Sales Manager Brian Crettol, explained, &ldquo;We had a good year with Sweet Sunshine. It has excellent eating quality and we think the variety has a lot of potential.&rdquo;<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Jasmine Vineyards has already started harvesting some of its late season varieties and expects to be in production with all grapes within the next two weeks. Harvest could be off to a rainy start. Plastic is out to protect the vineyards in preparation of precipitation over the weekend. Crettol said two-thirds of the company&rsquo;s crop have yet to be harvested and production should last well into November.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Sweet celebration will be added to the company&rsquo;s repertoire in 2012. Crettol explained, &ldquo;Next year we look forward to having another new variety to give to our customers.
