<p>Kroger is announcing the promotion of Joe Miskimins to Vice President of Produce and Floral for The Kroger Co. Mr. Miskimins, who has held the position of Vice President of Merchandising for QFC, is replacing the recently retired Reggie Griffin.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">In this new position as Vice President of Produce and Floral, Mr. Miskimins will lead the company’s vision and strategy for the Produce and Floral department, as well as sales and merchandising. He will be reporting to Jeff Burt, Kroger’s group Vice President of Perishables. “Joe is a strong leader who is passionate about delivering the best products and services to our customers, and he has the expertise to deliver. We’re excited that Joe will lead our Produce and Floral team and look forward to his contributions” stated Mr. Burt.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">Joe Miskimins has been a member of the Kroger team since 1980 where he began in the Cincinnati/Dayton division. Over the years, he has held a range of leadership positions within the company, including store and district management, Drug/GM and Produce merchandising, a position as district manager in the Fry’s division, area manager and Produce merchandiser for Kroger’s Central division, as well as Floral director at Kroger’s general office in Cincinnati. 2009 brought him his most recent position as Vice President of Merchandising for QFC with 2011 paving the way for his newest role. </p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding"><p>www.kroger.com</p><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
