Kroger: Promotes Joe Fey To President Of Quality Food Centers Division

<p>The Kroger Co. is announcing the promotion of a new team member as president of its Quality Food Centers Division. Joe Fey, previously vice-president of merchandising for the company&rsquo;s Michigan division, will bring 35 years of experience to the QFC. Fey began his career with Kroger in 1972 as a meat clerk. After exceeding expectations with promotion after promotion up the leadership ladder, Fey was named vice president of merchandising for the Dillons Division. 2008 saw further achievement when he was named vice president of merchandising for the Michigan Division. Rodney McMullen, president and chief operating officer of Kroger stated, "Joe has always led with a passion for developing great people and delivering the highest-quality products to our customers. His skills as a mentor and expert merchandiser will help QFC continue to be the quality and service leader in the Pacific Northwest."
