"...We're partnering with Oppy in bringing the Sumo Citrus piece into Canada for 2026. They are an ideal fit for AC Foods and an ideal fit for Sumo Citrus distribution in Canada through Oppy, it means a lot to us. We've had some brief exposure in the last 12 months, but we think that the partnership and the relationships with the retailers will bring us to another level," Greg said in the video.
He pointed out that the United States has done a wonderful job with marketing the product, and this same energy will be brought into Oppy’s marketing efforts.
"We refer to Sumo Citrus as the mega star of the mandarin world. Its highlights are that it's an easy peel, seedless, and very, very sweet," Greg added. "Sumo Citrus will be available in the fall. First arrival should be late August and September, and if you've got any queries on the product itself and the availability, please reach out to your Oppy representative."
