MADERA, CA - Raley’s, in partnership with Riverstone Development, officially broke ground on a new Raley’s O-N-E Market at Riverwalk at Riverstone in Madera. The store is the first full-service grocery destination to one of the Central Valley’s premier master-planned communities.
The ceremony, held at the corner of Market Avenue West and Riverwalk Boulevard South, brought together Raley’s leadership, Riverstone Development, Madera County elected officials, and the Madera Chamber of Commerce to commemorate the next major chapter in Riverstone’s growth.
The new 40,000-square-foot store will anchor a broader 61,000-square-foot retail expansion at Riverwalk at Riverstone, marking Raley’s second location in Madera County. Built to support the community, promote sustainability and healthy eating, the store is targeted to open in spring 2027.
Raley’s O·N·E Market is designed to bring a best-in-class grocery experience to Riverstone residents. The store will feature fresh prepared foods, natural and organic products, locally sourced produce, and an in-store café, featuring Starbucks.
The project reflects a commitment to quality from the ground up. Raley's assembled a construction team to bring the vision to life, including HMR Architects, whose design captures the O·N·E Market format's modern, wellness-forward aesthetic; Tilton Pacific Construction, Inc. as general contractor; Barnum & Celillo Electric, Inc. handling electrical; and Classic Refrigeration ensuring the store's fresh and perishable departments meet Raley's standards.
