Asparagus Supplies Remain Light Across Key Shipping Regions

UNITED STATES - Asparagus supplies remained limited across key shipping and import regions, with Mexican volume too light to establish a market and Peruvian product holding about steady, according to the USDA's July 31, 2026 National FOB Review.

For Mexican asparagus crossing through Arizona, California and Texas, supplies were reported as very light and insufficient to establish a market. Green asparagus in 11-pound cartons or crates, bunched in standard sizes, was in too few hands to establish pricing. USDA noted that market reporting will resume when sufficient supplies become available.
