Winn-Dixie debuted their prototype store in the Sunshine State earlier this month. The new Winn-Dixie will feature a greater assortment of prepared foods, specialty products, organic and natural items, a hallmark of the chain's fresh and local mission statement. The 58,000 square foot Margate store joins a sister location that opened in February; that store has so far exceeded expectations, according to CEO Peter Lynch.
