Attendees at the recent media briefing sponsored by PBH were treated to samples of Stemilt’s exclusive Pinata apple variety. Stemilt marketing director Roger Pepperl described the unique fruit as "a high-sugar, high-acid apple with classic apple flavors and a unique tropical twist. Its crisp texture and juicy bite make it great for eating fresh out-of-hand.” The Piñata apple variety, named 2001 Apple of the Year in Germany, will be available nationwide in January.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
