Wegmans' Woodmore store in Maryland is being recognized for its green refrigeration system and received GreenChill Gold-Level Store Certificaton. Manager of Engineering, Rich Kelley, stated, "Sustainability is one of our company's priorities, and the low-temperature refrigeration system at Woodmore is a major step in the right direction." The refrigeration system is called the Second Nature Advance LT System and is designed to be better for the environment. According to the EPA, if every supermarket attained GreenChill standards, the supermarket industry could eliminate emissions by an amount equal to 3.8 million cars annually!<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
