Greg Corrigan, Director of Produce for Raley's Supermarkets, joined ANUK's Sarah Hoxie for an exclusive chat. Mr. Corrigan discussed his entry into the retail industry, starting with Bel Air in the mid-1980's. Raley's Supermarkets now owns Bel Air, Nob Hill and Food Source, comprising 133 stores in total throughout Northern California and Nevada. Mr. Corrigan worked at Raley's as he pursued a degree in business management, and was impressed early in his career with the family nature of the company. As Director of Produce, Mr. Corrigan works closely with suppliers both locally and across the country. A new direction for Mr. Corrigan's stores involves the displays of bagged salads behind glass doors. After a test run in a Napa, CA store, more of these innovative additions are planned for several Raley's banners.<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">
