Tampa, FL - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is recognizing Sweetbay Supermarket with ENERGY STAR certification for continuous energy consumption reductions and an ongoing and sound corporate commitment to promoting quality energy performance. 1,570 grocery stores were acknowledged by the EPA for earning ENERGY STAR labels for superior energy efficiency. Out of that number, only 170 actually took the cake, earning EPA Energy Star Certification. Sweetbay boasted an amazing 53 stores that made the cut for the certification.
