Loblaw Companies Limited has once again been named one of Canada's Greenest Employers, by Mediacorp Canada. The honor was awarded to Loblaw for creating a corporate culture dedicated to the development of initiatives that were industry-leading, environmentally conscious and focused on sustainability. One of the five principles that drive Loblaw's corporate social responsibility commitment is "Respect the Environment" which has helped the country achieve this recognition. Bob Chant, Senior Vice-President, Corporate Affairs and Communication, Loblaw Companies Limited, stated, "Loblaw and its colleagues, employees and franchise owners are committed to being one of Canada's Greenest Employers."
