United Supermarket is welcoming back the 2012 Jacky Pierce Charity Classic golf tournament, hosted by the company itself. Jacky Pierce was a long time produce director for United Supermarkets. He lost his battle with cancer in 2002. The tournament was named in his honor. The 21st annual event will be held August 26th through the 27th at Lubbock Country Club in Lubbock, Texas. Golf lovers can register from now till August1st or when space are filled. The schedule includes a Partnership Dinner Sunday evening the 26th for the for the second year in a row. The event will beheld at the Cap*Rock Winery. The Produce group will be hosting a BBQ on Saturday Night for those who are in town for the tournament. Through the support of United Supermarket's Partners, the Jacky Pierce Charity Classic has raised over $2.6 million for charities in north and west Texas during its first 20 years. Proceeds from the 2012 Jacky Pierce Charity Classic will benefit United Way.
