Columbine Vineyards is transitioning from its Sugraone and Flame grapes into its Thompson and Majestic seedless grape harvest. With the previous harvest generating a huge crop and top quality fruit, the company is anticipating a great season for its current harvest in Arvin and Delano. Columbine will also be picking the company's proprietary grapes, Black Globes®, in the next couple weeks and its Holiday® Seedless in late September. Shawn Caldwell, tells AndNowUKnow, "Due to excellent color and quality, we’ve been able to harvest 80-90% of the crop on the first pick. Feedback from our retail partners has been extremely positive-- we’ve been told our grapes are flying off the shelf."

L&M is excited to partner with Idaho potato grower-shipper, High Country. High Country, one of Idaho’s largest russet potato packers—currently ships about 1.5 million sacks annually. By joining with High Country, L&M completes its year-round program and becomes an industry leader in russet potatoes. Tracy Fowler, L&M’s General Manager of Potatoes and Onions, notes, “Both L&M and High Country have a reputation for outstanding sustainable business practices and a high quality pack—we are a great fit for each other.”
