Bonipak is launching a fresh new educational program at this year's PMA Fresh Summit in Anaheim. The Knowledge Center, by Bonipak will offer produce managers, wholesale reps and other industry members information that includes how the company's produce is grown, the specific ways in which those items are grown and the reasons for those methods, as well as nutritional information. The bins are developed to promote apple and pear festivals in Fall and Winter. They bring the image of the Wenatchee area and mountain scenery to the store while promoting the “family owned image” of Stemilt. Both bins also promote the More Matters logo that ties in with Produce for Better Health. Retailers can use the bins as satellite displays or for product overflow. Roger Pepperl, Marketing Director, tells AndNowUKnow, "We have proven to show incremental sales increases of up to 20% with proper use of this sales tool.
