<p>Sun World is announcing a new addition to their worldwide licensed marketers. El Ciruelo, a Spain based company, has been licensed by Sun World to market their stonefruit in Europe. The Mediterranean environment, in which the fruit is produced, is proving to be an ideal location. El Ciruelo will pack fruit from Sun World producers and present the produce to the European market. Currently, El Ciruelo is the only company licensed to market Sun World’s seedless table grape varieties in Spain and will now be adding stonefruit. Included in the varieties of stone fruit are the BLACK DIAMOND® and BLACK GIANT® which are red and yellow flesh black plums, red plums comprising the RED DIAMOND® and RED GIANT® brands; the AMBER CREST® brand which are early-ripening peaches, nectarines bearing the SUPER STAR® brand and early-ripening high blush apricots marketed<hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="legacyRuler"><hr class="invisible minimal-padding">under the HONEYCOT® brand. The new plums, peaches, nectarines and apricots will join the seedless table grapes in El Ciruelo’s line of distribution. Sun World’s quality produce is developed at their Variety Development Center in California where they have made seventy new varieties of fruit available.
