The National Peanut Board New Appointees

<p>The National Peanut Board announces it will be joined by five new members and five alternates to serve on the committee. Secretary Tom Vilsack appointed the new members to fulfill these three-year terms in office beginning January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2014. The recent appointments are representing peanut producers. New additions to join the board are Edward E. White of Headland, Ala.; William A. Gwaltney, Jr. of Windsor, Va.; with the alternate members including Tom Corcoran of Eufaula, Ala.; Bob Bartnett of O&rsquo;Brien, Fla.; Mike Steede, of Lucedale, Miss.; and Paul Rogers from Wakefield Virginia. Reappointed members are Michael H. Davis of Graceville, Fla.; Don Self of Hamilton, Miss.; Cindy D. Belch of Conway, N.C.; and alternate member Dan Ward, Clarktown, N.C.
